Janina Rajakangas
Concept, Choreography, Performance
Janina Rajakangas works mainly as a choreographer, with a practice including performing, teaching and public reflection. Her latest directed works are Dinosaur (2015), Teen (2017) and Canary (2018). As a performer she works for Frauke Requardt, Requardt & Rosenberg and Robert Clark in London. Since 2019 Janina works on a 3-year-artist grant from Arts Promotion Centre Finland.
Neil Callaghan
Concept, Choreography, Performance
Neil Callaghan has been making work with various constellations of people since 2002 in the fields of dance, theatre and visual arts. He works alone and in collaboration with numerous others. He has previously worked with Lea Anderson, Doris Uhlich, Nicola Conibere, Dan Canham, Requardt & Rosenberg, Simone Kenyon and Vlatka Horvat. At present he tours with Until Our Hearts Stop by Meg Stuart/Damaged Goods.
Miki Brunou
Sound Design & Music
Miki Brunou is a sound designer and composer working in the fields of film and performing arts. While promptly meeting the differing demands from designing soundscapes for a postmodern rendition of a Greek tragedy to composing score music for a feature-length documentary film, he’s often trying to extract the accidental musicality from the by-products of everyday human activities, finding equal inspiration from lush harmonies and harsh noise.
Jenni Pystynen
Scenography
Interested in working with light in various contexts from installation to stage, architecture to film and exploring sources from sun to video projection she is a minimalist at heart but has an ardour for spectacles. Having been brought up under the Nordic skies she is infinitely wondering the natural light and it is her biggest source of inspiration.
Piia Rinne
Costume
Piia Rinne has worked extensively as a designer in the field of textile, fashion and performing arts. She started with Noora Niinikoski (Rinne Niinikoski) making limited edition piece of clothes and working in the borderline of fashion and art. Rinne has also designed textiles for Marimekko and costumes for theatre and opera, such as Finnish National Opera and Savonlinna Opera Festival. Lately Rinne has done costume and visual design for new dance pieces cooperating choreographers such as Veli Lehtovaara, Anna Mustonen, Janina Rajakangas and Anna Torkkel.
Ulrika Vilke
Producer
Ulrika Vilke is contemporary art producer. She has worked for 10 years both with freelancers and working groups and in various organizations in Finland. Vilke enjoys long production cycles and long term artist-producer relationship. In recent years she has worked on a collaboration with choreographer Janina Rajakangas and Joona Halonen and actor-musician Ona Kamu.
